I joined a virtual mastermind about a week ago, and over the past week, I've been immersing myself in the content.
The mastermind group is about crypto and NFT. I've been ignoring those topics for a long time, and for some reason, I've gotten highly interested in learning about them.
Despite the crazy price of Bitcoin — after reading a bunch of articles and watching a bunch of videos about it — I believe the whole cryptocurrency and the blockchain technology are still in their infancy.
I'll include the YouTube playlist about Bitcoin in the Weekly Inspirations below if you want to find out more.
That means there are still enormous opportunities for regular people like me. Plus, the mastermind costs $150/mo; I have to dive into the content as much and as soon as I can to figure out if it's worth keeping the subscription active.
But I've been impressed with the content and the community so far. There are so many incredible people in the community with similar passions and goals for the crypto space.
So that's what I've been doing. Hopefully, I'll have an answer in the next few days. And the more I dive into the crypto world, the more excited I get about all the potential changes it will bring to the world and the economy.
And if it interests me enough, I might consider starting creating content around those topics.
So to sum it up, it could be a journey to keep myself educated about the latest trends and technology; but it could also be a path of figuring out the niche of my blog and YouTube channel.
Yes, I'm still struggling with that, guiltily.
Anyway, I'm excited to see where all this will lead.
Another thing I want to bring up is that I purchased a Circle Premium DNA Test with a 50% discount during the 11.11 sale, and I just collected my DNA sample using the collection kit this morning.
I'll be shipping it back to Circle tomorrow, and the results should be ready within the next month. I'll be sure to report back on what I find then.
That's all for this week's updates. Hopefully, I'll be able to include more meaningful things in future newsletters.
It's a lengthy article (about 10K words), and I'm still halfway through. But if you're new in the crypto space and want to learn more, this is a great place to start with.
As mentioned above, I recently watched many videos about Bitcoin to really learn about how it all works. And this YouTube playlist by Andreas Antonopoulos is undoubtedly the best place for newcomers to do that. It contains dozens of videos and is jam-packed with bite-sized information that I think is perfect for beginners.
Of course, you don't have to watch the entire playlist if you don't want to. I didn't. You can always revisit it if you need to learn about a particular topic.
Natalie Brunell recently did a highly informative and fun interview with Vijay Boyapati to talk about his book and Bitcoin in general. Vijay is such a cool, smart guy that even if you're not interested in learning about Bitcoin, I'd still recommend watching this interview.
I'm sure you'll get something out of it.
I was Googling if one could learn Psychology on their own when I discovered this interesting Skillshare class on Psychology. It's short (just 45 mins) and it helps me understand better how our minds work.
After watching this class, I've become more confident that I'm super into this kind of stuff. I'm definitely checking out more classes on this topic shortly.
